What Am I?[0]~ Attack on Titan [Reader x Various]

You opened your eyes to see Mikasa looking at you, concern flickering in her obsidian gaze.

“[Name], now that you’ve finally decided to wake up, will you help me wake up Eren?” She spoke with slight amusement.

You chuckled and shook Eren.

“Oi, Eren, your beauty rest is over!”  You said.

Eren’s sea green eyes snapped open and stared straight into your [e/c] ones. The two of you stared into each other’s eyes until Mikasa giggled. You looked away from him with a blush on your face as he did the same; this only caused Mikasa to laugh harder. You sent a glare her way.

“I-I’m sorry [N-Name], but you two are like a match made in heaven.” She said trying to suppress her laughter.

You began to laugh too and got up. You extended a hand for Eren to take and pulled him up. You looked at him and your eyes widened.

“Eren, why are you crying?” You asked.

A look of shock entered Eren’s face as he wiped the tears away.

“Ah, I don’t remember [Name], but please don’t tell anyone…” He mumbled.

“Yeah, yeah…Now c’mon lets ditch Ms. Giggles over there!” You said pointing to Mikasa.

Mikasa turned to you with a look of fake hurt and you laughed. You pulled Eren towards the gate as you tried to out run Mikasa. You and Eren were laughing as you enter the gate and only stopped at the sound of Eren’s name.

“Eren, what are you crying about?” Hannes said as he wrapped an arm around Eren’s shoulder.

Mikasa came to a stop next to you as you faced Hannes, a member of the Garrison. He looked to be slightly drunk and you could smell the alcohol on his breath.
 
“You reek of alcohol! Why would you think I was crying!?” Eren snapped back.

You set your eyes on the other Garrison man who were drinking as well. Eren scoffed at them.

“Will you be able to fight in case of an emergency?” He asked.

“What do you mean?” Hannes responded confused.

“I mean what will you do when THEY break down the wall?!” Eren growled.

You flinched and looked down. No one knew who your parents were. You had been found abandoned outside the wall as a child. Many blamed the titans for killing your family; you had come to hate them over time for taking away what you had always wanted. Eren looked at you with a concerned look in his eyes. He reached out and squeezed your hand.

“We’ve been safe for a century, Eren… There’s nothing to worry about.” Hannes calmly stated.

You looked up with glazed eyes and didn’t say word.

“[Name]..” Mikasa whispered.

You ignored her and began to pull away from Eren’s grasp, causing Eren’s eyes to lock on you. You pulled away from him and began to run into town.

“Geez..What’s wrong with her..?” Hannes muttered.

Mikasa and Eren stared worriedly at your retreating figure. As you ran tears began to pour from your eyes, at any mention of the titans an uncontrollable rage would bubble up inside you. You wanted them dead for what they did to you.

“Hey [Name]!” A kind voice called.

You ignored them and continued to run until you tripped and fell on your face. You could hear someone’s footsteps come to a stop next to you. Your [e/c] let out more tears.

“Are you all right?” The voice said again.

You slowly looked up to see a mess of blond hair and soft blue eyes.

“I’m fine Armin..Don’t worry about me…”

“How can you say that when your crying on the ground?” Armin frowned.

You struggled to get up and Armin ended up pulling you to your feet. You gave him a light smile as you began to detangle your [h/c] locks.

“I’m sorry if I worried you Armin.” You spoke softly.

Armin smiled back and pulled you into a hug.

“Don’t act like nothing’s wrong [Name]. It’s ok to let it out…”

At this tears began to pour down your face. Armin whispered words of comfort to you as you bawled.

A few hours had passed and you and Armin eventually met up with Eren and Mikasa. The three of you were now skipping stones.

“[Name], I want to join the Survey Corps.” Eren said.
Your eyes widened.

“I-I do too…I want to destroy them..” You murmured

Eren’s eye brightened and took your hand in his. You smiled and leaned your head on his shoulder, causing him to blush.

Suddenly there was a loud noise and the ground shook. You got up and began to run to the source of the noise with your friends following after you. Your eyes were as big as saucers when you saw it. A titan was looking over the wall. This was impossible. There was just no way a titan could be that big. Eren, Armin, and Mikasa stood next to you with the same look of shock you had. Everything seemed to be eerily silent in that moment.

“I-It can’t be..that wall’s 50 meters high..” Armin whispered.

A giant foot came crashing through the wall knock large stones all throughout the Shinzhanga District. A look of horror now entered Eren’s face. He ran off with Mikasa following behind. You began to race after them but were stopped by Armin.

“We have to get out of here [Name]!!” He yelled.

With that he grabbed your wrist and began to lead you towards the inner gate. Armin fell back when he bumped into someone.

“Mr. Hannes! You have to go back and get Eren and Mikasa!!! They ran towards their house!!” Armin said with concern in his voice.

Hannes simply nodded and took off. You and Armin finally reached the inner gate and were put on a boat. Your expression hadn’t changed since you had first seen the titan.  You slowly looked up when you heard Armin saying something about Eren. You saw Eren and Mikasa with looks of pure terror on their faces. When they got on the boat you made your way over and sat next to Eren. Eren got up from his seat when the ruins of your home were beginning to get further away.

“I’ll kill them all!” He said bitterly.
