A bright screen illuminated your face It was 11:30 pm and you had found your new addiction. You had just begun playing the latest MMORPG called League of Warcraft (creative I know...) and were already hooked. You had yet to find a party to travel, so were pretty much just wandering around. You sighed. It would take a whole lot of time to level up. Just then a notification popped up on your screen. You squinted at the screen to read it.
"Hello and welcome to LoW, I wanted to know if you would like to join our party? Thanks -- marb.5" You whispered.
Your [e/c] eyes narrowed as you clicked on the player's screen name. He was playing as a dwarf and was a lvl 110. You had to admit that you were impressed. You began to type a response to his message: 'Hey, thanks for the invite and welcome, I'd love to be a part of your party!' . You groaned at hoe overly exited it sounded, but sent it anyway. Another notification popped up on your screen.
'Great! I guess you can start telling me about yourself then lol'
'Haha, I don't think so, I barely know you'
'That's a pretty good reason lol. i guess i did move a bit fast lol.'
'yeah, but I guess I can tell you my name. I'm [Name]'
'And I'm Marco'
You had been playing LoW for around 3 months now. It had consumed most of your free-time and social life. You had made fast friends with the other members of Marco's party. You learned a lot from them and were now at level 85. You shut off your laptop and laid down on your bed. You didn't understand it. Marco's kind words and soft sense of humor had a more than friendly effect on you, but you still couldn't grasp it. How could you love someone without even know them?
Marco signed off of LoW and sighed. His feelings towards you confused him. He felt a connection with you he had never felt before. He closed his eyes. He wanted to meet you, but what if you were different? He looked at the clock on his desk. It was 6:57 and time to get ready for school. He sighed once again and stood up.
You shut your locker and ran a hand through your [h/c] hair. School was turning out to be really annoying today. You turned in the direction of your next class and began to walk towards it when you collided with another person. Both of you fell backwards and dropped your books.
"Sorry..." You murmured as you began it pick up papers.
"It's really fine, we both weren't looking at where we were going" A kind voice responded.
You looked up to see a boy about your age with dark brown hair, kind eyes, and an abundance of freckles on his face. You blushed at how attractive he was and quickly stood up. His voice reminded you of someone, but you couldn't quite place it.
"There. See, no harm done. I'm Marco by the way." He said smiling.
No it couldn't be. Marco was a common name, maybe it was just a coincidence.
"I-I'm [Name]." You stuttered quietly.
His brown eyes widened at this and he engulfed you in a hug.
"Are you THE [Name]?" He whispered.
"I-I think so... Are you THE Marco?" You spoke with surprise in your voice.
He hugged you tighter.
"Yes, I know I am." Marco smiled brightly.
