Item [1] ~ Eren x Reader [Attack on Titan AU]

You sat on the bus, waiting for it to arrive at school. You sighed when it stopped again.  ‘Why does it have to take so long?’ you thought grumpily. You turned your head as someone sat next to you. It wasn’t your friends, Krista and Ymir, it was Eren. Your eyes widened when you saw him looking at you.

“Good morning, [Name]!” He smiled once he noticed you looking.

You blushed and looked away. Eren was pretty popular and was a great football player. You also thought he was pretty cute.

“G-good morning, Eren.” You whispered back.

The two of you sat in a comfortable silence until a harsh voice broke it.

“Oi, Jaeger, you’re in OUR seats!” Ymir’s voice yelled.

Your [e/c] eyes brightened.

“Ah, don’t worry about it Ymir-chan, I’ll just move!” You told her.

Ymir narrowed her glare at Eren but nodded. You began to pick up all of your school things. As you were leaving your seat you felt hand grasp your wrist.

“Stay…” Was all Eren said.

You furrowed your brow at this. ‘Why does he want me to stay? We’re not even friends..’ You wondered.

“Sorry Eren, but I’d like to sit with my friends.” You smiled kindly.

He let go of your hand but frowned. You scurried over to Krista and Ymir.

“Good morning, guys!” You smiled at them.

“Good morning, [Name].” The chorused.

“So,  what was all that about?” Ymir ruffled you hair.

“Yeah [Name], why was Eren sitting with you?” Krista asked taking a seat.

“I don’t know. We’re not really friends…”  Your voice had a thoughtful tone to it.

“Hmph. I don’t like it…” Ymir muttered.

Your other friends Annie, Reiner, and Bertholdt attended a nearby school, so your only friends were Krista and Ymir. The bus pulled up to the school and students began to walk off. You felt eyes staring at you as you walked off. Your head whipped around to see Eren staring at you. When he saw you looking back his blue eyes lit up and he waved. You gave a hesitant wave back and ran to catch up with your friends.



The rest of the day went by rather quickly, it was now lunch and you sat down with Krista.

“So [Name], how've you been?” Krista smiled brightly at you.

“Good! What about you?” You cheerily responded.
The two of you continued making small talk until Ymir came over and sat down.

“Annie, Reiner, and Bertholdt are going to be here tomorrow!” Ymir grinned.

Your smile got even wider.

“Really?!?” You beamed.

Ymir chuckled and nodded. You began to jump up and down, but you couldn't help it! You hadn't seen your friends since the summer and that was months ago! Krista let out a giggle at your actions.

“Wait, why are they visiting?” You stopped jumping.

“Reiner said something about wanting to see how good our team is..” Ymir mused.

“So, they’re not just visiting us…” You frowned.

Ymir gave you a small smile.

“Well, they said they’ll be here most of the day…Does that make up for it?” She patted your back.

“Hmph. I guess so.” You puffed out your cheeks, causing Krista to giggle again.

You felt eyes on you again. You turned around and saw Eren staring at you again; he noticed you looking and blushed. You shrugged and turned you attention back to your friends.


-Time Skip to Next Day-


You brushed your [h/l] [h/c] locks and smiled at yourself in the mirror. You had to make sure you dressed nicely for Annie, Reiner, and Bertholdt’s visit. You wore a loose [fav/color] t-shirt and a pair of jeans. Since you were satisfied with the way you looked, you said goodbye to your parents and headed to the bus stop.

You plopped down in your usual seat and began to excitedly wait for your friends. The minute you felt someone sit down next to you, you turned to them with a bright smile on your face.  Your smiled slowly faded when your [e/c] eyes met Eren’s bright blue ones

“Ah, Good morning, Eren! I didn’t expect to see you here!” You put a smile back on your face.

Eren blushed and turned away from you.

“Y-yeah, Good morning [Name].” He stuttered.

You lightly smiled at him and turned around to look out the window. While looking out the window you saw your group of friends. You shot up out your seat when the bus stopped. You moved to a group of open seats where all of your friends could fit. When they walked on you stood up and waved to them.

Bertholdt was the first to come over to you and sat next to you. You smiled at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He blushed and smiled at you.  Eren glared at this and got up from his seat. He walked over to where you and your friends were talking and sat down next to Bertholdt. All eyes locked on to him.

“Umm, Eren, what are you doing here?” You asked.

“Uhh, W-well, I-I..” Eren struggled to find words.

Ymir, Annie, and Reiner sent cold glares towards Eren, making him flinch.  You chuckled awkwardly.

“Eren, I think you should go back to your seat..” You said kindly.

“B-But I-I…” he stuttered.

“Eren, that is your name right?,” Bertholdt said seriously, “Please leave, we haven’t seen [Name] in a long time and want to catch up.”

Eren was stunned. These were your friends?  He had seen them at games against your schools rival team ‘The Titans’. He was shocked that you were actually friends with the enemy. Eren slowly got up and shot glares at everyone in your group, his eyes only softened once they met yours.

“Ok, fine. See ya later [Name].” Eren sent a smirk in your direction.

You blushed and watched him walk away.



Your day was filled with laughter and goofiness. You were so happy to see your friends again.  You smiled at the memories you made today as you pulled the books you needed for homework out of your locker. Suddenly you were slammed against the lockers. You looked up to see Eren staring at you.

“I can’t take it [Name]… I can’t take you not being mine..” He muttered.

Eren moved his face closer to yours, he slowly brought you in for a kiss. It was amazing you felt sparks between you two. After the shock disappeared you began kissing back. You felt his tongue poking at your lips, you cautiously let his tongue in and his tongue began to explore your mouth.

When you two finally separated there was a thin line of saliva in between your mouths.

“So, does this make us an item?” Eren smiled.

You blushed and nodded. Eren took your hand in his and you began to walk away. Neither of you noticed the jealous look a certain black haired boy was giving you two.

‘H-How dare he steal [Name] away from me!!’ Bertholdt thought angrily.
